Mayan Hieroglyphics

Another day, another Redditch school - this time Church Hill Middle!

The school were looking for a creativity project that would enhance the school environment in some way. Hand made ceramic tiles produced by the students themselves, certainly ticks all the right boxes!

Seventy five Year 5 students spent the day making clay interpretations of Ancient Mayan Hieroglyphics. Once fired, the tiles will be wall mounted in school, all together, to form a magnificent low relief panel.
