On the third day of the residency the children got to choose from a range of messy clay play activities, including experimenting on the potter's wheel. Jon found it so inspiring observing the children's uninhibited learning. At one point there were 8 children in the 'clay zone', working alongside each other but each exploring the medium in a totally unique way.
