Tirlebrook Primary Coil-pots

Ancient Greece is certainly in Vogue with regard to clay work at the moment. Jon spent a very enjoyable morning working with Years 5 & 6 at Tirlebrook Primary School in Tewkesbury. The children made coil-pots, which were painted with terracotta slip and then 'ancient greek' inspired designs scratched into the surface.
